Tubertini Monofilament, Fluorocarbon, Fluorine and Dynema are produced exclusively for Tubertini by Kyoritsu Shoji Co Ltd, in Japan. The Kyoritsu company only produces lines for the angling industry. The nylons arrive at Tubertini in 3000m & 500m Hanks, these nylons are then treated (nebulized) with protecting substances that will save the product form light and other atmospheric agents like heat and salt.

Moreover Hanks, instead of Spools, ensures the lines are not damaged, for example: Crushing, so the quality is the same for the first meter as it is the last meter. All monofilament dealt with by Tubertini has different specifications depending on the exact requirement and price shouldn't be taken as an indicator to the final quality. It isn't true that the most expensive line is the best.

In the Tubertini fishing lines are developed for a particular fishing style, the lines characteristics give much better performance because they have been matched to the requirement and consequently out perform more expensive generic lines. Breaking Strain

Our lines breaking strain (breakage resistance to be more accurate) is verified by two processes. The first is made during fishing simulation (breaking T Kg) and the second is taken from the laboratory using ultra precision devices on market leading equipment, the laboratory test is the most accurate available of its kind (breaking L kg)

Example: Breaking T/L kg = 0.59/0.49 - Note: 1 lb is equivalent to 0.454 kg

Tubertini Power Age - Tapered Leader Line Tubertini Power age is a Tapered Leader Line that is ideal for both long distance feeder and heavy slider float work.
